Resource Centre
The Ironbark Country's Resource Centre is part of the Framework for supporting communities, businesses and Associates. Its role is to provide products and services to assist in the management of assignments, projects and opportunities.
There are three main parts to the Ironbark Country's Resource Centre:
1. Knowledge Management and Sharing
Knowledge Management revolves around g athering information and knowledge as required, dissemination and sharing through the Internet, seminars, workshops and newsletters and providing access to appropriate tools and processes.
2. Services Delivery
The Resource Centre Provides a range of activities to leverage the work of individuals, thereby reducing time and costs and improving the overall delivery of desired outcomes. These activities include such things as:
- Management of new business ideas and opportunities.
- Management of Business and Community projects.
- Business and Community Help Desk.
- Associates contacts and relevant information.
- Access to a diversified skills base to draw upon.
- Management of marketing activities.
- Access to Research and Researchers, advice on Research projects.
- Development of Business Incubators .
3. Technology Infrastructure
Technology itself is not the driver of Ironbark Country, but is used to support our activities and deliver various products and services. The components include an interactive Internet site, a communications infrastructure and support for information and knowledge management activities.
The Resource Centre enables Ironbark Country access to efficient ways to manage knowledge and resources in order to improve client support, improved project implementation and cost effectiveness.
