The purpose of Ironbark Country is to create a fresh approach to business and community development, addressing the creation of new and sustainable job opportunities, improving retention and expansion of existing businesses, business performance enhancement, strategy development, attraction of new businesses and opportunities to regional areas, in a practical way.
The people who make things happen and who encourage broad-thinking and strategic innovation, the Movers and Shakers in a community, form part of the Ironbark Country team. Together we seek to serve communities by providing a Framework for facilitation and implementation of projects that will meet community aspirations.
The Framework brings together people, opportunities, marketing, information, knowledge, research, planning, finance and other services. The sharing of opportunities and practical experiences provides businesses and communities with new insight into their performance, growth and development. By leveraging and cross fertilisation of the different skills of various businesses and communities we make a significant difference to their success, without sacrificing autonomy or flexibility.
Marshalling assistance and resources to resolve issues and commercialise opportunities is accomplished by leveraging the attributes of experienced people interested in their businesses and communities through knowledge sharing, communications, creating, managing a critical mass of opportunities and by providing support in the implementation of projects and new ideas.

The Ironbark Framework is based on three main thrusts:
Integration – of a range of products and services required by and being demanded by clients, a Resource Centre available anywhere, where ever there is need. One resource providing information and knowledge, tools, processes, people and skill development.
Collaboration – between Movers and Shakers, Associates, Strategic Partners, Clients, Suppliers and other contacts in order to get the job done effectively. Working with the right people from the right skill base, in the right place and at the right time.
Implementation – a practical ACTION orientated environment in which to work, addressing the issue by having people with the right skills, appropriate tools and processes with which to implement and carry forward assignments more effectively.
